Who we are
Varex Bio was founded in 2026 by three people who spent much of their careers building, protecting and launching the first approved cannabinoid medicines. The company is registered in England and works with partners in Australia and the United States.
What we work on
Rare genetic conditions bring metabolic and endocrine problems that are recognised in the clinical guidelines but poorly served by the evidence base. Our first programme is DiGeorge Syndrome also known as 22q11.2 deletion syndrome.
Where we are
Varex Bio is pre-clinical. Our lead candidate is a cannabinoid new chemical entity. It is not authorised in any territory, it is not available for supply. We make no claim here about what it does; that is what the research programme exists to establish.
